I've been painting for quite some time and had gone through various styles, techniques, and subject matter.

I have exhibited in the past but to only so called local galleries and nothing "high end." I'm not in any personal, corporate, or museum collections and I don't have a lengthy resume. All of that is for self-serving absorption anyway. My dedication is to my craft,  not to promote a narcissistic justification.

The pages reflected here on this website represent works I've painted since  2016. Up until early 2024 I've painted images that were mostly for my entertainment and the concepts  I was going through. The works, although of decent quality and substance, weren't really honest in a sense that they didn't represent the true passion of my craft as a painter..."art for art's sake."

A major life readjustment was about to occur.

Towards the middle of 2022 I was diagnosed with stage four large B cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. My life moving forward was not my own, but rested in the hands of brilliant oncologists. A million scenarios began to  play out in my head as reality and what could be quickly developed. Not to go into any details but it was as bad as it gets. My life had changed forever. Aside from the daily drama of life,  my art had taken on a new meaning. I began to paint wildlife and disassociated myself with all concepts from the past.

Fast forward to 2025 and I've been cancer free for two years...a true blessing.

My new work, displayed here on the website, has given me a new justification as to why I paint. Its no longer about me and what I may conceptualize  for others to see. Its about the world of nature surrounding us. Beings that are alive, creatures whose life is just as fragile as ours and who could cease to exist in an instant. I believe that I have come out the other side so that I may show the beauty of nature and to respect its place with us. All life needs to be cherished.

I now have joy and passion by presenting this imagery to share with all. Amen.
